Guidelines for Formatting Manuscripts

These guidelines are essential to ensure that the document is suitable for formatting and that there are no problems arising from a simple copy and paste.

    1. Text Review
      • Consistency and Correctness : Make sure the text has been proofread for grammatical, spelling and punctuation errors.
      • Complete Content : The manuscript must be complete in all its parts (title, chapters, acknowledgements, etc.). We do not accept incomplete texts.

        2. Formatting the Document
          • Clear Structure : Use consistent styles for headings, subheadings, and paragraphs. Avoid changing fonts or text sizes inconsistently.
          • Indents and Spacing : Make sure indents and spacing are consistent throughout your document.
          • Removing Double Spaces : Make sure there are no double or multiple spaces between words or at the ends of sentences.

            3. Problems to Avoid with Copy and Paste
              • Inconsistent Formatting : Copying and pasting can cause unwanted formatting changes. Make sure your document is consistent and free of different or incorrect styles.
              • Special Characters : Check for special characters or incorrect symbols that may be entered during copy and paste.
              • Footnotes and Citations : Make sure all footnotes and citations are correctly inserted and formatted.

                4. File Verification
                  • File Format : Please submit your manuscript in .docx or .rtf format. We do not accept non-editable formats such as PDFs or scanned images.
                  • File Size : Make sure your file is no larger than 10MB to avoid uploading issues.

                    5. Content and Licenses
                    • Originality : Make sure that the content of the manuscript is original and free of plagiarism.
                    • Copyright : Make sure you own the copyright or necessary licenses for any content included in your manuscript, such as quotes, images, or graphics.

                     

                      6. Submitting the Manuscript
                        • Submission Email : Submit your manuscript in the brief section where it says to upload documents.
                        • Project Details : Fill out the brief in each of your questions, so you will get the best possible work.
